MD&I Proud Parent Moment

Ricky Finley | MD&I Baseball Academy

We are introducing a new feature here at MD&I Baseball Academy.  It’s called the Proud Parent Moment.  One of the most fun aspects of participating in sports with your children is the opportunity to celebrate their accomplishments.

MD&I strives to be a family that coaches families.  This mean that we want to hear about the success your kids are experiencing in athletics, academics, and everywhere else.  The more we celebrate their wins on and off the field, the stronger our family becomes.

So, I am going to get things started by sharing Proud Parent Moments about my sons, Ricky and Rashad in the next couple of posts.

Proud Parent Moment – Rick Finley, West Chester, Ohio

This Proud Parent Moment is about my oldest son, Ricky.  When he was a senior at Lakota West High School, he was chosen as part of the 1st Team All-State.  That means that he was recognized as being one of the top 16 baseball players in all of Ohio that year!  Needless to say, our family was extremely proud of his achievements that also included being named Player of the Year on the All Butler County Team along with several school records, and a list of accomplishments on the football field as well.
